   There are an infinite amount of resources and lists for great free fonts. Today, we will have a look at the current highest ranked font from a list of 20 quality font websites. The result is a fantastic list of 20 quality free fonts.

   How the hell 5 and 6 get to the top? there are way better Alternatives out there, especially for arcade style fonts, but hey I don’t make the lists now do I.

    I’m not sure why anybody would want to use any of these fonts. Out of all of them, #2 is probably the least offensive.

    I suppose it depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. Some typefaces are more for display usage and not so much for body copy. When scaled down to 8-12 point size, the letters do not create a good rhythm and there isn’t enough contrast between the positive and negative to really read it well.

    Good typefaces are hard to find. The internet is awash with typefaces people have made that truthfully, have no use.

    @fffranklin-I can assure you most of these fonts are being, as you mentioned, used for display. Not many people will be using these fonts at 8-12 point. These are mainly used for headers and large logos, seeing as the web is not really ready to support imported font types.

    The letters do not create a good shapes for web 2.0 applications , any not bad too its just soso

    What about the fonts in your logo at the top? I think I like them more then about 8 of the ones listed…
